IS-BAH consultancy and audits

The new IS-BAH business aircraft handling standards system has now been launched, and we believe it is going to be one of the most important innovations in the industry over the coming years.

You have probably been following its implementation closely, and may know the key facts:

  • IS-BAH involves implementing a progressive Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Conforming to its standards and practices is voluntary and may be self-administered.
  • However, recognition is available via an audit process that results in an IBAC certificate.
  • Audits are conducted every two years

The major business jet operators, many of which are already accredited themselves under the established IS-BAO scheme, will almost certainly make IS-BAH certification a requirement when choosing which handlers to use.

There is a three-stage process to achieve IS-BAH, and we can provide the support and advice you need at every step of the way. You can take advantage of our consultancy services to set up the necessary systems, and then appoint an auditor; or you can work towards the standards yourself and we can carry out the audit for you.

DCAI has been established for many years and currently carries out audit work for major airlines, governments and airports. We have auditors accredited for IS-BAH and are delighted to have carried out the first successful IS-BAH audit in the United Kingdom for Inflite The Jet Centre Limited, Stansted.

If you would like an informal discussion about IS-BAH and how your company can benefit from its adoption, then please do not hesitate to be in touch.
